Is the appliance permanent?
No, it is not. It has durability of other general orthodontic appliance (about 2 years) when cared well.
How can I decide the degree of protrusion of lower jaw?
The degree of protrusion is adjusted as push stick of upper jaw pushes the lower jammed jaw into the front, and here, if you put the key in the hole of metal adjusting screw of push stick of upper jaw and turn it once (1/4 rotation), the length of push stick of upper jaw is extended by 0.2mm, so if you repeat it 5 times, 1mm is extended. As you follow this step, the degree of lower jaw protrusion increases.
Where does jammed jaw of the appliance hang
Plates of upper jaw and lower jaw occlusion meet each other closing the mouth until the point where mouth cannot be closed anymore. Here, occluding part by jammed jaw between upper and lower jaw become the right location.
What is the way to increase the retentivity when retentivity of the appliance decreased?
The inner side of the appliance is soft, while the outer side is hard having relation between inner elastic material and wearing sensation and retentivity control. When retentivity is decreased, we compensate in the way that ball clasp is added since soft part is impossible to be repaired.
Aren’t jammed jaw of upper and lower jaw of the appliance weak?

What if the appliance is pigmentated or plaque forms?
It can affect elasticity of inner soft side or appliance’s discoloration, and for prevention, refer to users guidelines.
How long is free repair period of the appliance?
We offer free A/S for 1 year when there is something wrong in appliance’s function, however, repair due to changes in oral cavity condition charges actual expense.
How can we keep the appliance?
You should not expose it to sunlight since it can affect durability of the appliance. It would be better to keep it in the box for it after cleaning it with the toothbrush that did not put any toothpaste very well in the running warm water. It is also good to clean it after soaking it in mouth cavity cleaners for about 1 minute.
Is quality of appliance’s material safe?
Yes, it is. This product was made from Dental Orthodontic Resin (Dentaurum GmbH & Co.KG), Dental Orthodontic Screw (Dentaurum GmbH & Co.KG),
Durasoft (Scheu-Dental), etc permitted for the medical use.
How is wearing sensation of the appliance?
Although the outer surface is hard, inner material is soft, rendering excellent wearing sensation.
How long does it take to make it?
It takes about 7~10 days. It takes 7 days when there is no holiday during the weekdays, and 10 days when there is.
